Giving Up Should Never Be An Option

From what I have seen and experienced, quitting too early is the greatest temptation during the first year of working at a business from home. It is a known fact that the majority of the people that undertake a business from home do not achieve real success.

There are several reasons for this, but one of the primary reasons is that these people get frustrated and do not allow themselves enough time to succeed. In the early going, one of the most difficult things about developing a new business from home is dealing with the emotional roller coaster that can result from the highs and lows that you will experience.

Once you have thoroughly researched your particular business from home opportunity, you really need to be focused on persistence and realize that any real business opportunity will not just automatically become successful in a matter of days or weeks. You should be prepared to give it your best sustained effort for at least 6 to 12 months before you see any substantial progress and begin to see some good income.

When working at home a person can, at times, experience a feeling of isolation which is probably brought on by the lack of interaction and gossip at the water cooler in a work force environment.

There can also be periods of doubt in the early going. Gee, did I pick the right business opportunity? Am I doing the right things to develop my business? When will I start making a profit?, and on and on and on. You should realize that you have to send money ahead if you are going to be financially secure later in life. In other words, you are going to have to invest money into your business if you want to reach your dream.

Highs and lows is something that I encountered a great deal when I first started my Christian business from home. I was one of those who expected results in just a couple weeks or months. I finally decided to contact my up-line sponsor and see if I could get any pointers to lead me in the right direction.

The first thing she told me was to realize that my feelings and frustrations were normal. She told me to stay focused and not to give up for it may take up to a year to see any satisfying results.

She did let me in on a little secret that turned her business around dramatically. She told me about the Plug-in Profit Site which offers exceptional mentoring. But this man never quit. In 1860, he was elected the 16th President of the United States. He was, of course, Abraham Lincoln.

Hang in there and just keep focused on your goal. If you have chosen a viable home business opportunity (one that has been around for awhile and in which some other people are having success) you will achieve success, but it takes time and there will be ups and downs along the way.

Remember - When you make a definite decision, act upon it immediately. Do not hesitate. You will never get to second base with one foot still on first. Fear and faith can not live together in the same mind.

Before you can be successful with an internet business from home, you must possess 3 distinct charachteristics which must come from deep within you and drive you to succeed!

MOST of the time, People want more time to spend with their family! More time to watch their kids grow up "LIVE" and not on video. Why MUST you have that successful business from home? What is it you MUST HAVE right now?

For me, I was to the point where I hated to see Sunday nights roll around. I was a truck driver and truck drivers are cheated out of more time with family than any other profession, except our brave soldiers around the world (God Bless our great military)! I knew Sunday night meant I would be leaving my family and not see them again until Friday night. I was luckier than most truckers because I had advanced to a position which I was able to be home every weekend. But that took 2 long years of only seeing my loved ones 1 weekend every 2 or 3 weeks! That was my ABSOLUTE DESIRE, it was my goal to have a successful internet business from home so I didn't have to leave them every Sunday night.



Next, FAITH is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

You must have FAITH that it's very possible for you to have a successful business from home and make a good living to satisfy your own ABSOLUTE DESIRES. Robert Collier said, "Your chances of success in any undertaking can always be measured by your belief in yourself."

First, I had to have faith in myself. I had to believe and realize there were a lot of people already making a great income with an intenet business from home. I knew it was up to me to find the secret that was making people successful online. I had to find a reliable, legitimate sytem that worked and a mentor who is successful and is willing to share secrets.

It was plain to see that there are many successful people making a great living with an internet bussiness from home. There are many people quitting their day J-O-B every day. All you have to do is go online and checkout all the success stories and testimonials of ORDINARY PEOPLE just like you and me, making a good living with their internet businesses. Bookstore shelves are filled with success stories about people making a lot of money with internet businesses from home.

It is becoming more and more evident every day people are finding how easy it is to make money with an internet business from home. It used to be, you had to seek out a company, fill out an application and hope that you would be the chosen one over dozens of other applicants. Now the hard part...COMMITMENT!
