http://www.HonestlyFreeHomeBiz.comBlogging is one of the easiest ways to start a WAHM business. However, that does not mean you will make money from your blog right away. Blogging is an activity that will take time to build. With time and attention, your blog (or blogs) will grow into a profitable business.
When you blog for profit, you must pay close attention to how you present yourself. There are literally hundreds of thousands of blogs on the Internet, and there may be hundreds that are related to your topic. If your readers have trouble understanding or reading your blog, they will just move on to the next one.
The following tips can make your blog more user-friendly and help you gain consistent readers.
First, pay close attention to your blog format. Most blogging platforms are similar in format, with links in the left or right margin, and the most recent post on top. Only use links or content that is truly related to your blog topic.
Also, carefully choose your blog background and font colors. Although there are a lot of color choices that blogging programs offer, its best to stick with a light background and dark text. Avoid a black or dark background with white or light color text as it is hard on the eyes. When in doubt, use blue as it is a popular color and it has calming and soothing effect.
Proofread your entries before you post them to your blog. There is nothing that reduces your authority more, than bad spelling and grammar. Take time to check and edit commonly misspelled words and grammatical errors. This will insure credibility for your WAHM business.
Keep your blog fresh and interesting by posting at least once per day. With so much information available on the Internet, your readers may go elsewhere if you are not supplying fresh content daily.
If you are not sure what to write about, there is nothing wrong with posting an article by another author and commenting on it. Just make sure you include the Bio box with any links intact. Not every post has to be long and complicated, but you do need to post something every day.
These tips will help you succeed with your WAHM business by keeping your blog interesting for your visitors. The more visitors you get, the more your blog will grow in popularity and profitability.
