Character And Integrity Without Exception

Usually my posts are designed around information to help individuals build their Home Businesses. Tips and suggestions I have found while trying to build my own Internet Business, I try and pass on here in my blog. As some of you know, a few weeks ago I entered a blogging contest that is offering some great prizes. If I finish dead last, I will have still won in this contest. The rules set out by the organizer, Stephen Meyers, I now see had motives behind them. One rule in particular, was to visit and comment on the other competitor blogs. I used to hate visiting other blogs with the intention of making comments. Heck, I had a hard enough time creating my own blog posts, let alone visiting and reading what other people had to say. But now, I thrive on this once dreaded task. The posting has declined a bit from the other competitors so I have made up the slack, so to speak, by finding other blogs to visit. (And there is certainly no shortage of blogs out there) Usually you can find many quality referrals from blogs owned by Ben Pei or even Peter Lee. A few posts back I wrote a, from the heart, article on Integrity. It breaks my heart to see all the deception that goes on across the World Wide Web; in particular the use of the words Christian Business. Well, let me get to my point of this article. The reason I would still be a winner even if I lose this contest? The discipline I have acquired and friends I have made in the few short weeks this contest has been running. One of these friends (And I hope he does not mind me calling him a friend) is a great individual I know as Ben Pei. I have watched this young man the last few weeks just continually give, give, give! He has been running his own blog contests with wonderful prizes. He has gone out on a limb and offered free blogs. And now he wants to give even more as he is offering FREE banners as his Christmas gift to all of us. If you are in the process of achieving a goal such as building an Internet Business or even to lose a few pounds, make a dream board. A dream board is a poster, of sorts. If financial success with your Internet Business is your goal, cut out pictures of the things you want to buy or do. If losing those extra pounds is your motivation, cut out pictures of the new wardrobe you will someday buy. There are many other things you can do to stay motivated. Believe in yourself. Stay healthy. Maintain a positive attitude. You will be amazed at what you can achieve with your Internet Business when you are motivated. Another benefit with affiliate marketing is the affiliate merchant gives you the promotional materials you need to promote your business. With online affiliate marketing, you are even given an affiliate website complete with your name and affiliate I.D.. However, this raises the question as to whether you can do affiliate marketing successfully without a website of your own. In my opinion it is better to create your own affiliate marketing website for traffic generation purposes. Having your own website will also enable you to present your products in your own words, which will make pre-selling them much more effective. This also gives you the opportunity to promote multiple affiliate programs at the same time. However, if you want to do affiliate marketing without building and maintaining a website, there are several viable options that are open to you. Here are a few of them. You can still do email marketing without an affiliate website of your own. You can promote your affiliate links directly in the e-mail messages and send your leads directly to your affiliate sales page if you choose to do so. You can purchase leads in various ways and import them directly into an auto-responder that contains pre-written messages about the product you are selling. Another thing you can do is create e-books and give them away. Focus on a specific theme and write useful information about it that people would want to read. Within the content of the e-book you can include links to your affiliate products and make sales that way. Some article directories and discussion forums do not allow you to place a link to an affiliate sales page in your signature file. On the other hand they do allow you to link to a website or a blog. So if you do not want to run a website, all you need to do is start a free blog with Blogger.com or wordpress.com. Your blog does not even need to be loaded with content or regularly updated. All that is necessary is a sign-up form and possibly a pre-sell article about the affiliate product you are selling. Then you can participate in discussion forums send traffic to your pre-sell blog article via the link in your signature file. You can do the same thing with article marketing. This is a great way to do affiliate marketing without a website. You would write articles that interest people and place a resource box at the foot of the article that directs people either to your affiliate link or to the pre-sell page on your blog. In summary, while I must emphasize that having a website of your own is the best way to do affiliate marketing. If that is not something that appeals to you then it is not an absolute necessity. Instead, you can promote your affiliate link directly and make sales in the various ways that I have listed in this article. 7 Most Common Work-at-Home Scams
Everyone has been guilty of being scammed on the Internet. Some of us more that others. In this article Sylvie explains some of the most common scams you will find on the internet and in your email in-box. By: Sylvie Fortin Are you a scamaholic? Do you find yourself seduced by those ads in the paper and on the web that promise huge incomes with very little effort on your part? You know what I am talking about; those ads that entice you with part-time jobs with big pay offs, from the comfort of your own home, and with little to no work on your part. I have even seen ads that say you can make money while sleeping, watching TV, or having sex. Can that even be legal? If you have been sucked into any of these work-at-home scams, do not worry. There is help. The first step truly is making yourself aware that there are people out there who will scam you for your very last dime. It is your responsibility to learn how to spot these scammers and stay far, far away from their traps. To help you avoid these scammers, we will review some of the most common and successful scams out there today. 1. Envelope stuffing. Envelope stuffing is one of the most popular scams. You won't be stuffing envelopes. What you'll be asked to do is place the same ad (at your own expense) that you responded to, in order to scam other people. 2. Email Processors. Email processing is the e-version of envelope stuffing. Typically, you pay person #1 a fee of between $5-30 and then person #1 sends you your information kit. This typically tells you how to take the exact same ad you replied to and send it out by email or on newsletters to convince others to send you the same fee you sent Person #1. 3. Home Typists (also Order Taker/Application Taker). There are lots of home typist positions that are perfectly legitimate, but these never ask you for a fee and they are also rarely advertised online. Do not get suckered by ads that promise home typing work that require a fee. They are all variations on the email processing scam. 4. Craft/Electronic Assembly. There are perfectly legitimate craft/assembly companies that do pay their home-based workers. Unfortunately, they are very hard to find. With most scams, you will be asked to pay anywhere from $10 to $200 for a test kit. You will then be sent something to assemble that, no matter how brilliantly done, will never meet their so-called quality standards. This scam works to make the originating company a great deal of money in two ways. The first way they make money is by selling you the kit and materials. Then, they actually sell your carefully assembled products at discount prices to retailers. Believe me, they are selling your assembled products, but they just are not paying you for it. 5. Lists of companies that hire home-based workers. Many people get scammed into buying lists that promise hundreds of sure bet companies that are just waiting to hire you to work from home. The simple reality is that these lists are often just compiled from the telephone book and many of the companies on them, if the companies exist at all, do not know they are on such a list. And, the real kicker: Most of these companies do not even hire home-based workers. There are legitimate lists online, but they are totally free for you to review. 6. Reading books for pay. A variation on the job list is the Make Money Reading Books list. This list names publishers who pay to have individuals review their manuscripts. As with the lists in #5, you can find this information for free on the Web yourself. And, while it is true that some publishing companies pay people to review manuscripts, they will advertise these positions carefully. They are not typically happy about receiving unsolicited resumes. 7. $6 Chain Letter. If you have ever seen the $6 Chain Letter in your Inbox, you have experienced a pyramid scheme up close and personal. For only $6, you can make thousands or so promises the letter. A simple rule of thumb: Avoid all chain letters, especially when money is being requested. This is one letter you will want to avoid like the plague because not only is it totally illegal and it does not work! A real company offering a position, whether it be work at home or in an office, will ask to see your resume, probably want references, maybe want to see samples of your work, and might want to communicate by phone. If they do not ask for any of these things, be careful! And, if they ask for money, beware! A legitimate company will NEVER ask you for money to work for them!
