New Sources Of Traffic For Christian Home Businesses
Submitted by Leon Bowes
Anyone who has online
Christian home businesses will know the importance of a consistent flow of visitors to their website. Without traffic, your website will not be seen by anyone and you will not make any sales.
When it comes to free traffic, search engine optimization (SEO) is the main strategy to tackle. You want to get your site ranked on the first page of the search results for terms that you are targeting.
Having a good ranking for a select few highly searched terms can bring you loads of free traffic but technically, the traffic is not free. You have to put a lot of effort into link building, optimizing your site, etc. This takes time and as the saying goes, time is money.
In this article, we are going to focus on paid sources of traffic. This is the fastest way you can generate a lot of traffic to test your sales page for conversions.
The most effective paid traffic is that generated through pay-per-click (PPC) platforms such as Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter. These three platforms get the greatest share of PPC traffic so you should focus on them. Master them and you will be on your way to creating streams of traffic on demand.
It is important, however, to be constantly testing new sources of paid traffic. Social media advertising is another option people use to advertise their
Christian home businesses. MySpace and Facebook have recently launched their own self-service advertising platform.
With the ability to target a certain demographic that corresponds to your business, you may see some high conversion numbers. There are a large number of social media and social networking sites that you can test.
Media buying through banner networks is another option. Most of these companies have easy-to-use platforms where you can easily upload your banner to create an ad campaign. Then you can specify your ad budget and also target the categories of sites you want your ad to appear on.
Alternatively, you can also approach individual site owners to advertise on their sites. Think of sites that your prospective customers tend to visit, such as forums or blogs.
As you branch out to other traffic sources, be sure to keep track of the results of your tests. After a period of testing, gather all the data and analyze them to make a decision whether the traffic is profitable. If it is not, drop it and move on to the next traffic source.
Another thing you can do is to set aside a portion of your profits for the purpose of testing. When people have a disciplined approach to continuously increase the traffic to their
Christian home businesses, they will reap massive benefits in the long run.

Honest Christian Home Businesses--What Is That?

http://www.HonestlyFreeHomeBiz.comHas honesty become a thing of the past? Too many people are asking themselves this question as they search the Internet. As the unstable economy takes its toll on many people around the world, they are continually looking for alternatives to solve their financial dilemma, including the Internet.
In a desperate search to find a fundamental solution, they spend their hard-earned money on Get Rich Schemes only to find out that the bargain they hoped for was not a bargain after all.
With bruised hopes, dreams, and an empty wallet many people reciprocate. Some may pass it off by learning negative things such as not trusting anyone else again. Others quit buying online altogether. While many others, run and tell there friends they got ripped-off, giving honest marketers a bad rap.
Either way we look at these facts, we still come to the same conclusion. We need to change the way we are doing things and become more ethically inclined with our
Christian home businesses.
Honesty has a great deal to do with any marketer, if not for any other reason but to be able to continue with our business. Secondly, it helps someone else get what they need.
You may be saying to yourself, but I am honest in my work. You probably are! There are still many Internet marketers that use ethical marketing techniques when selling their products and services. But are we passing these ethical techniques to our downline? Are we teaching them about honesty?
We can be examples for them. We leave the decision to them. The newbie will then learn from their mistakes. Without customers and future financing, they will once again seek wisdom from the old timers.
Then, and only then, will online marketing be instrumental in economic growth so it can stand firm and we can prosper with our
Christian home businesses.
Trust is built on the very foundation of honesty, especially when dealing with costumers. It is a two-way street, the consumer gets what they paid for and their is still money in their wallets so they can buy other things.
The Internet marketer on the other hand, gets a returning costumer that will tell their friends, who will in turn tell their friends, and so on. In the mean time, the Internet marketer is building lasting relationships, making money and getting a fantastic reputation.
So, I guess we need to ask ourselves; Do we continue with this cut-throat attitude and eat dirt or do we claim the power from past years and help change the mindset of the consumer. This will lead us to bigger profits with our
Christian home businesses and everyone will be happy?
