Christian business owners and entrepreneurs wanting their businesses to remain strong during the current global economic crisis know that the best options are to follow, focus and have faith in God.
Our Creator has always given Christians the wisdom to prosper in tough economic situations. Remember Joseph had a vision of an upcoming famine and God gave him the wisdom to plan ahead helping Egypt avoid the world-wide famine. (Genesis 41)
During the "Great Depression", there were companies that not only survived, but did very well and grew during this period. Successful businessmen like Andrew Carnegie, Milton Hershey, and George McMurty were also able to thrive and prosper.
They instilled God's power into their businesses by rejecting the practice of taking advantage of employees which prevailed in the business world at large, but rather embraced charity, kindheartedness and other Christian ideals as their management tools.(Malachi 3:5)
The Christian business owners who are innovative in their ideas to make a dramatic change from the traditional methods to adopting a comprehensive, (spiritual and physical) approach to business activities continue to be empowered by God for success.
There should be more businesses where, prayer and planning go hand in hand, customer relationship management is modeled after the unconditional love of Christ and restoration of the church and the community are equally important.
Imagine the impact that could be made in your
Christian business, if you utilized the comprehensive physical and spiritual resources available. The same Christ that died to save our souls, wants to save our communities and save
Christian businesses also.
